Meet Zack Metzger

Hi, I’m Zack Metzger! As a life-long resident of Howell Township and proud student of the Freehold Regional High School District (FRHSD), I am the candidate best equipped to serve the good people of Howell on the FRHSD school board.

I’m running because I believe that our schools deserve leadership that’s forward thinking, fiscally responsible, and unafraid to act. I bring a student’s perspective and policymaker’s mindset – I am someone who understands our classrooms firsthand, yet also has the political know-how to faithfully serve and bring about change. From supporting our administrators and teachers in the day-to-day operations of our high schools to introducing community-inspired change, I am the man for the job.

My goal is simple: Let’s put Our Students First. Join us – help us make a better Freehold Regional High School District!

What is the School Board?

In our town, there are two school boards: one responsible for our Howell K-8 public schools and the other responsible for the 6 regional high schools. I am running for a seat on the Freehold Regional High School District’s school board.

As a board member, I will be responsible for representing the concerns of Howell residents on the regional school board. Board members are not in charge of the daily operations of the school, but rather set guiding goals and objectives for the district. When elected, I will ensure that the board implements my policy proposals and that the superintendent carries out the policies and goals of my campaign.
